PROTESTATION | Plus de 200 étudiants se mobilisent à l’Université de Lausanne pour réclamer des études plus faciles d’accès. Ils occupent un auditoire où une quinzaine d’entre eux vont passer la nuit.

Banderoles, slogans et porte-voix: l’heure est à la révolte à l’Université de Lausanne. Hier, les étudiants ont lancé une journée d’action pour des Hautes Ecoles plus faciles d’accès. Dès midi, ils étaient plus de 200 à occuper un auditoire du bâtiment Anthropole.

Après trois heures de débats, les étudiants ont voté l’occupation de l’auditoire «jusqu’à nouvel avis». Un petit groupe s’est installé hier soir avec matelas et ravitaillement pour la nuit dans une ambiance bonne enfant. «Et on ne laissera personne nous déloger, même pas la police» prévient un étudiant.

Mouvement européen

Cette révolte n’est pas née à Dorigny: elle s’inscrit dans la grogne générale des étudiants en Europe, où 34 universités sont occupées depuis plusieurs semaines sous le slogan «Notre éducation n’est pas à vendre.» En Suisse, c’est à Bâle, à Berne et à Zurich que les étudiants occupent leur Université.

Hier, ce sont deux étudiants autrichiens, Angela et Patrick, qui sont venus témoigner de leur expérience à Dorigny. «Je viens de Vienne, où nous occupons un auditoire qui ressemble à une zone en guerre. Cela dure depuis bientôt cinq semaines, et la participation augmente. Quoi que vous fassiez, ne vous laissez pas déloger!» a lancé Patrick.

A Lausanne comme à Vienne, les reproches des étudiants se cristallisent sur le système de Bologne: fin de la liberté académique, donc impossibilité de travailler en dehors des études à cause des cours obligatoires, ou problèmes pour étudier un an à l’étranger. Les étudiants réclament aussi la suppression des taxes d’études, refusent le numerus clausus ou demandent la création d’un système de bourses identique pour tous les cantons. Mais la manifestation s’en prenait aussi à une vision de plus en plus commerciale de l’université.

I will be Microsoft Office 2007 contacting the Office 2010 product key company about this but I shouldn't have to.
