Quand les universités reprennent les méthodes des grandes écoles... Le ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur a décidé de mener une enquête inédite auprès des étudiants diplômés en 2007 afin de connaître leur situation sur le marché du travail.

Selon une information révélée par Le Parisien/Aujourd'hui en France , près de 100.000 ex-étudiants doivent recevoir à partir du mois de décembre un appel téléphonique de leur ancienne université afin de répondre à un formulaire de 30 questions, transmis dès lundi aux 83 universités de l'Hexagone. D'ici le 30 avril prochain, les universités devront remettre leurs résultats. Dès juin, le ministère publiera une synthèse.

"Les étudiants doivent savoir ce que deviennent sur le marché du travail les anciens de telle ou telle filière", argue Valérie Pécresse. "Aujourd'hui, quand on s'inscrit à l'université, on ne connaît pas le taux d'insertion de la filière choisie, contrairement à ce qui se pratique dans les grandes écoles. Ce manque d'information lisible creuse le fossé entre les initiés et les autres", explique la ministre dans les colonnes du quotidien.

Si elle est nécessaire, la démarche n'en demeure pas moins fastidieuse et onéreuse. Pour réaliser cette étude, des étudiants rémunérés seront mis à contribution, pour un coût global de 750.000 euros.
